That is because this newsgroup became completely useless long ago.
Nobody should use this newsgroup as a source of information. If
someone has a question, someone would probably answer it. I don't
think we need any more flaming wars going on.

I've sheathed my sword since there is nobody posting any
misinformation lately. It's been about two whole weeks since the
flood of nonsense ceased.

Reality tends to be dull.

If someone feels the need to start a new fire... there are are plenty
of fire extinguishers to handle them.

Personally, I am appreciating the calm. My family, the organization I
represent, and I have not been insulted in nearly a fortnight. That
is a welcome change. The patients that have sought information have
receive information that seems complete and by my measure balanced.
People with better things to do have not been wasting their time
responding to misinformation. I do not lament the changes at all,
although it is a pity that we do not have DrG and Bryce Carlson around
much anymore.

Why not call up some CRSQA surgeon's and get them to post messages
here? To avoid lots of problems, tell them to only post for a month
and then another CRSQA surgeon will post for the next month.

Unless I'm mistaken, Bryce is not gone. Bryce only replies to
credible questions which he has information about. There aren't a
whole lot of credible questions asked here though.

As for that other person you mentioned... his posts are more of a
problem than a solution. Let's not stir the coals on that further.

It's only been about 2 weeks since the garbage in this group ceased.
I think the only reason it's gone this long is that I mentioned that
the garbage spewer would be back within days. I still am sure he will
be back within weeks. He's mentally off his rocker, and his ego needs
to be fed constantly.
