Well, went to the 1 month follow-up visit. (minus a few days) Eyes look
good, no inflamation, 20/15. Been taking the lubricating drops 4 times a
day or more. I'm to keep it up for another week, then I can go to
'as-needed' on the drops. After 1 more week, I'm on no restrictions,
though the doc says that I'm probably right to wait a few more weeks after
that to start enameling again, as I'll be next to a large infra-red
source when I do so. The 20/10 line on the chart was a little harder to
read that it was 3 weeks ago, so I'm probably dealing with just a little
bit of regression.

My next appointment is in 2 months. I'll post again then. However, my
eyes feel normal, and other than being gummy/dry when I first wake up no
annoyances. The gumminess is also gradually decreasing.

All sounds normal and well, Todd. I'm glad to hear of your continued
recovery.

Remember that your eyes' ability to "feel" dryness is often
compromised after surgery. For this reason it may be better to keep a
specific routine for wetting your eyes, rather than only using eye
drops when your eyes feel dry our sore. Perhaps reducing the use to
three times a day, then twice, then once at night as the next couple
of months pass would be a good idea.
