| That seems a bit high, and of course actual studies are not cited, but
a significant percentage of people do have glare or halo problems
immediately after surgery. They normally resolve during the usual
six-month recovery time through treatment or just plain healing.
If a person demands that LASIK provide instanlyt perfect vision
without any limitations or fluctuations during the healing period,
then that person has an unreasonable expectation and should not have
refractive surgery of any kind.
BTW WizKid, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons
claims the LASIK complication rate is "less than one percent". We
disagree with that statement and have lobbied hard to get them to
either change it or explain themselves. What have you done about this
troubling statement?
