| One of Glenn's favorite tricks is to adopt an authoratative tone and
shower the reader with a long collection of links that are actually
irrelelvent to the point he was trying to make. His hope is that the
sheer bulk of nonsense will prevent anyone from critically examining
anything he says.
Today's Glenn Haglele misdirection is in defense of the indefensible
Alcon laser.
Glenn Hagele falsely stated that:
"My statement is accurate. If you visit the FDA
(http://www.fda.gov/cdrh/LASIK/lasers.htm) you will see that all issues
raised by the FDA regarding all currently manufactured lasers have been
satisfactorily resolved, all previously approved lasers continue to
maintain FDA approval, and patient outcomes information from the
clinical trials is available." and "I do not promote any excimer laser,
one over the other or one to begin with. I simply relate the facts
regarding the issue. "
The FDA page Hagele referenced ONLY has the original approval orders.
No information about pending issues is available here. There is no
information that you can find here to reassure yourself that "all
isssues raised by the FDA regarding all currently manufactured lasers
have been satisfactorily resolved". In fact, if you look at the dates
of the documents on the FDA web site, they were all issued PRIOR to the
FDA warning letter.
NO, THIS IS JUST THE PAGE FOR APPROVAL ORDERS and Hagele thinks you are
too STUPID to notice!
