| Yes, there are people who have had bad outcomes and I am extremely
sympathetic to that.
But there's nothing more powerful than a personal story and heartfelt
support and guidance.
What Eye does is post and repost the same studies without understanding
what they are saying at best and skewing the conclusion at worst to make
it look like bad stuff happens to everyone. Extrapolating from a single
study of 40 eyes to the millions of eyes that have been LASIKed to prove
that everyone's outcome is crap is not a good way to garner respect or
an interested audience.
But Eye's personal story, your story etc. are powerful because you have
first hand experience and can empathize. that's what makes a difference.
Not some misinterpretation about a study on cadavers.
