Hi John,

I think you have heard wrong there. I was told to keep them closed as much
as poss in the first 12 hours. From my experience things were extremely
bright and light sensitive straight after. Things were very hazzy / blury
like I had glad wrap over them. While being driven home I could bearly make
out street signs that I wouldn't normally have had a hope of reading so I
could notice a improvement but generally I am very glad I wasn't driving
myself home. You will probably be half spaced out on valium also so legally
you'd be in trouble too.

In 12 - 20 hours after, things are totally different. Its like a new world
seeing without glasses again. You should be ok then to drive yourself but to
be on the safe side I would try to have someone as a backup to drive you
just in case. Have some sun glasses ready too.

Let us know how you go John. Where are you getting it done?

Regards
Wal
