This is just despicable. The anti-LASIK zealots cry crocodile tears of
ersatz sympathy for anyone getting a bad result, but when someone, such as
Todd, gets the usual good result they can't help but wish him disaster. How
sick and hypocritical can you get? The old adage that "misery loves
company" may be human nature, but it is certainly far from higher nature.
Disgusting.

In any case, congratulations Todd! You sound like you're well on your way
to a fine result. LASIK is not perfect, and as with any surgery serious --
even tragic -- complications, though rare, can occur. But as far as
surgical procedures go, LASIK is a true miracle of medical technology that
has greatly enriched the lives of millions of people.
