Went back to Mass Eye & Ear for follow up exam. All is fine. Right
eye is now 20/25 from 20/400 originally. Left eye not operated on
remains at 20/300 or so.

Giving monovision a try. Doc says it may take 4 - 6 weeks to really
adjust and see if I like.

I certainly do like not needing glasses for anything but am not yet
sure about monovision but will give it a try.

The improvements seems quite good. Let us hope that last line on the
chart becomes clear with healing.

It seems that about 2/3rds of people who have monovision adjust and
like it. That leaves a large portion who really can't stand it. It
took me a long time to become accustomed to monovision, and several
contact lens fittings to get the correction just right.

I like to say that you may know you like monovision within 6-8 weeks,
but you won't know that you hate it until then.
