Question regarding the Zeiss Excimer Laser MEL80

| Hi
As I am still considering having Lasik done (-5.0L, -5.5R), I am
trying to read as much info regarding Lasik.
As it seems, the doctor who performs the surgeries, he pretends that
the new Zeiss Laser Mel 80 would allow a much smaller cut in the
cornea and the surgery would take less time and more, the healing
would be much quicker.
Is this true or are these only subjectif facts ?
If some of you could help me out, I would be very gratefull.

That's pure nonsense, pas des faits subjectifs.
I wouldn't like to have a LASIK done by a doctor who is doing sutch a
funny kind of hard selling and maybe doesn't even know better. Find
somebody else.
