I don't know about the USA but here in Australia I am sure the vast majority
of them are good. They are all very very busy all the time. Why would they
want to bullshit to get some extra patients. My eye doc sure doesn't need
any extra's. They are pushed getting through the work they already have.
Most will be making a extremely good living by just doing there job
honestly.

Both the anti's and for lasik here seem to continuously run down doctors and
are always saying things like - only choose a doctor who has done "X" amount
of surgery's, don't go to the LVI? places, only choose a doc who is
certified by such in such etc etc.

I just think everybody is continuously bagging the whole industry and am
wondering if it deserves it?
I am in the motor repair business. Mechanics seem to get picked on here by
everybody. Nobody trusts a Mechanic. Well I have been in the game for a lot
of years and have worked for 30 odd company's before I started out on my own
and I can't say I have ever really come across any of these crooks that
people keep talking about. Most Mechanic's I know are the most honest people
you will ever meet.
I think you'd probably find that the majority of Doctors would be the same.
