My decision to have LASIK was greatly influenced by the reccomendations of 2
Doctors. The first was my optometrist, and the second was a Gereral
Practice Physician who was doing my bianual DMV Physical. My optomitrist
only gave me the suggestion of having the surgery, not reccomending any
particular surgeon, and the General Practitioner did reccomend the Dr. who
did his own LASIK, but did not even ask me to mention his name. Niether of
the two referring Dr's had any financial gain. They only had my best
interests in mind.
