I had several conversations with Kashmira Karanjia. Her life was devastated
by Dr. Mark Whitten, and TLC Laser Centers, under the direction of Elias
Vamvakas.

If someone is going to make an attack, this is the way to do it. The
docotr and center are identified. Maybe the TLC mill will clean up
their act eventually.

I am still a bit skeptical of the veracity of Miss Karanja though.
She was only suing for $25,000 and didn't even go throught with that.
She settled for some unspecified amount. She quit her teaching job
claiming that her eye problems were the reason. What baloney. Even
if her vision was horrible, why should that stop her from teaching?
I've had teachers that continued to teach with terminal cancer (and
did die before the year ended). Another teacher was completely blind
in one eye and only had partial vision in another. Another teacher I
had was deaf without his powerful hearing aids. The most unusual
handicap was a college professor with just one arm - and the one arm
he had held a pipe throughout his lectures. Not only was it against
school policy for teachers to smoke in class, but the building he was
lecturing in was a no-smoking facility by order of the fire marshall.
Nobody had the guts to stop him.

One suggestion for Hanson would be to rename his website to something
like doctorfraud or medicalfraud. Obviously threre are plenty of bad
doctors and facilities out there. Lasik is just about the safest
surgery there is. Certainly there are more shenanigans going on in
different fields of medicine. Why limit his focus to just some sleazy
lasik mill?

Probably some elitist snob who demands perfection, who has all the
time and money to sue at the drop of a hat.

I found it odd that she was suing for $25,000 (which is peanuts in the
world of lawsuits). She settled out of court which means she got
something less than $25,000

Now here's the question... she was the girlfriend of Tiger Woods?
$25,000 is pocket change to Tiger Woods. Seems to me that this lady
is hurting for money.
