Bend Over Ragnar, It's Time For Another Whoppin'

| Many of you have already taken the time to tell Ragnar how worthless
his opinions are, but I thought I might take a minute to add a few
more comments.
As you all know from my backstory here, I am an Illinois-licensed
Doctor of Optometry and I have been in practice for 25 years. I also
have a degree in Psychology from the university of Pittsburgh. I have
had no less than 15 professional article published, and my practice
remains in the top 2% when compared with the nationally published
statistics concerning patient volume, total sales and customer
satisfaction. You may have already figured out that I have dedicated
much of the last ten years to warning patients about the possible
negative consequencers of refractive surgery.
I have no financial interest in any laser company, and the portion of
my practice that is dedicated to helping post-op refractive surgery
patients is less than 1% of our total annual dollar volume. I served
as the Chief Optometrist at a large ophthalmology practice during the
early 1990's, when RK was "big", and I got to know the emotional
problems and physical problems that could come with bad refractive
surgery.
This public newsgroup is dedicated to information about refractive
surgery, with an emphasis on LASIK. One of the most regular posters
here is a man named Christopher Roiland, who posts under the
fictitious name "Ragnar Suomi".
As far as I can tell, Christopher has no degree in Optics, Optometry,
Ophthalmology, Physics, Psychology or and related Health Science. He
has had successful LASIK surgery, other than that he is a layman.
For the past few years, he has elected to "take over" this newsgroup
by calling the individuals who were injured by refractive surgery
"wackos" or "zealots". He has made fun of patients that have been
diagnosed with clinical depression as a result of their refractive
surgery. He has consistantly printed paragraph after paragraph of
vile filth about anyone who says anything "bad" about his viewpoint.
I do not know if "Ragnar" has put all of his money into Laser Company
stocks, or he's just one sick bastard. Regardless, I ask all of you
to consider that the postings of this man are vile filth and unworthy
of your attention. TYhere are some individuals here that represent
the refractive surgery industry in a positive light. For example,
Glenn...he always puts his comments into a thread in a respectful tone
and asks pointed questions when he wants to "flesh out" an opinion
that doesn't go along with his.
Therefore, I ask that all of you continue to read this newsgroup for
information, and recognize that the hurtful antagonistic bullying that
comes from this vile little man is simply pitiful. As you can tell,
he has no purpose here other than to spout bigotry and hatred..and I
will continue to remind people when his angry diatrabes are getting
out of line. I can only hope that someday Christopher will find
another newsgroup to spread his vile poison. Is there a "Painful
Rectal Itch" newsgroup? Or how about a "Make Fun Of The Disabled"
Newsgroup?
Ragnar, you are one sick piece of worthless crap. For the rest of
you, thanks for your attention, and please go on with your Sunday
aftewrnoon reading.

I'm sorry; what was your name again?

| Don't take this wrong, but your listed accomplishments combined with your
grammer is a bit contradictory. If you want to be seen as a professional,
you must behave and speak like one.
Seriously, now, you dont have to lower yourself to that sort of language on
Ragnors account. Despite what our elected officials might beleive, the vast
majority of us CAN read, think, and make intelligent judgements for
ourselves.

| Many of you have what? Please name this "many"... are you referring
to yourself, Hanson, Keller, Wizkid, Wavefront Info, Jan? You must
be joking.
Anybody who doesn't realize what a lousy doctor you are needs to read
more of your garbage.
Let's not forget that Dr. Minarik is the ONLY doctor who was ever
removed from the Surgical Eyes list of doctors and banned from their
website. Even Surgical Eyes has some standards.

| I agree entirely. In fact I recently pointed out that I have NEVER
seen a doctor behave as unprofessionally and childishly as Dr. Ken
Minarik who has been performing malpractice for 25 years.
Not only is he juvenile by posting a subject such as "Bend Over...."
but he is also a horrible speller... "Whoppin' " ? I assume he
means "Whooping" or "Whuppin' " two O's and one P please.

| Your point is well taken. I will now pick myself up from the gutter,
dust myself off and be on with the business at hand. And, for those
of you who don't know who I am, I refer you to the following:
