Looks like another Drug is coming

| Hello everyone, it has been awhile since I was here. I wanted to let
everyone know about a new drug that is being developed for Lupus. It
has successfully passed phase 1 and 2 drug trials here in the US and is
set to go to phase three by the end of the year. Here is an little bit
of the quote
"Aug 10, 2006 (The Baltimore Sun - Knight Ridder/Tribune Business News
via COMTEX) -- Human Genome Sciences Inc. outlined plans yesterday for
taking its lupus drug LymphoStat-B into the final phase of clinical
trials before year-end, putting it among a handful of so-called
"genomics" drugs to reach that stage. If successful, the drug would be
the first lupus treatment approved in 40 years. "
I don't think we should get our hopes up, but a few more options would
be nice. My understanding is that it is similar to Rutximab, by the
way my Insurance, United health Care, has denied coverage for me to get
the Rutximab treatment.
Just thought I would let everyone know.

I went on-line to find out more on LymphoStat-B, but only found one
hit and it wasn't very informative. Do you know of site that has more
info.
Thanks,
Marie
