I heard we made the national news tonight. We are fine. The areas that
normally flood in bad weather flooded as usual. The Kimberly Bridge across
the Nansemond River that separates the uptown from the historic downtown
flooded and was still flooded this evening. That only takes high tide and
lots of rain. Guess what we had this afternoon? High tide and lots of rain!
Most of our rivers around here are brackish and are very much affected by
the tides. I've seen worse so I have no idea why we made the national news -
must have been a slow news day. LOL
Bev (I even took 3 of the granddaughters shopping at the local mall today.)

The rain from Ernesto started at about 8 a.m. this morning in Buffalo.
Marie felt an enormous amount of pain last night from the impending
weather change, which even her painkiller regimen couldn't touch.

I'll ask her to post here shortly so she cann tell you in her own words.

I also get tremendous pain before a weather change, nothing helps
either except for the change to happen.

So much tragedy now in the world. And hurricaines on east and west
coasts!!

hope the pain lessens soon.
