I meant to post to your post about your "cycle" issues cause I have
been doing the same thing, but I got so busy around here and kept
forgetting. I realized that mine really started about the time I
stopped the MTX and the Imuran was kicking in good. I didn't have one
for nearly 3 months, then it was basically normal and now, for the past
2-1/2 to 3 months, it's something I'm dealing with daily.

Did you discover any hormonal issues or any reasons why it could be
happening? I am almost 36, so I have all but accepted that I'm going
through an early menopause. I've already seen the gyno (at a teaching
hospital - oh the horror!) when I had stopped and he said nothing was
wrong, and because I'd rather have my eyes clawed out than go back
before I'm due for a PAP, I'm going to go with the Imuran/menopause
theory/delusion until I see my rheumy and have him do some blood tests.

I discussed this issue w/my pain doctor as he's really into hormones- much
more than my ob/gyn. So he took a ton of blood - what he calls the
menopausal panel (I'm 30yo)

I'll found out the results in August. My pain doctors uses biodentical
hormones which are supposed to be better for you.
I use an IUD for birthcontrol and he said that's good since there's no
hormones to deal with.

I started having break thru bleeding again this week. Dr said if there's
clotting with each session of bleeding, that's a period as the uterus has
prepared for implantation.... no clotting, breakthru.

I don't know what I'm going to do.... Dr said it could stay like this for a
couple years... or stop tomorrow... well, I'm not doing this for a couple of
years. I just hope there's something in the bloodwork that will say what's
going on.

Thanks Nicole!

I know exactly how you feel. And I'm getting married soon. This truly
bites! Let us know how the tests go in August. I'll be having mine
done in August too.

Don't do it!!!!!! I tell everyone not to get married. It's hard enough....
without being sick.

My pain doctor told me that ob/gyn don't normally run or understand all the
hormones. He said it's not taught in school and he had to learn it all on
his own. Insane isn't it.
He's done a lot to learn about all the hormones and the way they work/don't
work.

I started 4 days ago but it's not a complete cycle - no tissue.. must be
breakthru bleeding. ARGH!

I'm going bonkers

LOL! Honey, if you think it's hard being sick and married, try being
sick and single! :P
My fiance isn't well either and I love him that much more. He really
tries to be understanding as do I. And he COOKS!

I hope they figure out why it's happening, Nicole. I finally stopped.
A whole 6 days now, I believe. The way I feel, it could start back up
at anytime though...Argh is the word!
