I know that the both of you and I think Nicole live in the Houston
area....so I am praying that you, your families and all people in her path
will remain safe!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see the mayor has just listed the voluntary evacuation areas. Will you
and your property be safe or will you be evacuating?

My thoughts and prayers remain with you.

Hugs,
Sherry

Hi KCat,
I am glad to hear that you are getting out. It must be such a hard thing to
do. I hope this darn hurricane will bug out and leave everybody alone.
Prayers to all who have to worry about this storm. Be safe everyone.

Hi all, don't post much, just checking in on my Houston neighbors. I too live on lake livingston. Cindy, on your way up, please stop and get bread. hahah. I've never seen walmart so bear. Where on Lake Livingston does your BIL live? Small world. Kcat, good thing you are leaving.... you don't need to deal with the flooding. Good luck to you where ever you go. Ladies, let us know how you fair when the dust settles.

My 18 yo son attends San Jacinto college in Pasadena. They shut down yesterday at 9 a.m. I made him stop at my work so I could hug and squeeze him yesterday before he went to his girlfriends house. His girlfriends father works for the local electric co. SHECO and he will be on call (translated "not at home when the stuff hits the fan") so my Andy will be over there at their home. He doesn't want his girlfriends mother and sister home by themselves. We were just discussing what they have to clean up with... he will be coordinating with his girlfriends father. He knows how to use a chain saw and he has a lot of muscle. I want him home, but I tried to raise him to think about others.

My 84 year old FIL lives in the house next to us and my paraplegic BIL lives next door to him. My husband, 15 yo son, and I will have our hands full here.

Please keep us lupie sisters in your prayers.

Well we are still at the house. With the traffic mess we don't know what
to do Hubby didn't get out of work till late last night. And I can't sit
in sun and hot car so we are waiting for 10pm report and may go then. It
is very scary only one other neighbor on our street here.

Hi Cindy,
I heard about all the traffic mess and I thought about you in the heat and sun. Was so worried about that. Hopefully that will change today, so you can get out safely. Thoughts with you constantly, my dear.
