| I have been really down with a kidney infection, in the hospital 5
weeks + thought I was better but I am not I am still having issues
producing and such.
See nephrologist Friday and see IM next week, rhumey too. It has been a
fun time. I am super anemic and can't take 1/2 my meds including
Celebrex because of the kidney issues...... dang it.:-)
My daughter and I are hanging in there after being left 23 weeks ago by
husband without any warning.
Went to first in person meeting for Al-anon (husband drinking problem
and when informed of it left us suddenly 23 weeks ago) and cried the
whole time. I am the disabled mother of one 36, who has one little one
and am a week away from a final divorce that did not want on August 22,
2005.
Then in a surprise turn of events (not so surprising now reading
Al-anon book, I see that I am I notice surrounded by folks who drink in
excess and are in fact alcoholics themselves in addition to my husband.
I have had to make some hard decisions and hope to make the most of the
day by day living at this time.
There is so much to figure out in all this divorce business, and I
really really want to figure out how I contributed to the situations
and work on my issues for me and my daughter.
The really good news is that in my area there are two, one not that
far, Pre-teen AL-anon groups for 5-12 year old and my daughter and I
are going Saturday body willing.
I wanted to go to 2nd meeting today however, I am hurting to much from
arthritis, which is a disappointment.
I do feel I may want a sponsor but am afraid to take that step and my
husband is in DENIAL as in denial as they come.
We are taking it day by day and that is all we can do.

| CORRECTION SORRY not in hospt. 5 weeks but ill over 5 weeks in hosp for
3 days and begged to go home.

| Nicole,
My heart goes out to you. You are having to go through so much. I commend
you on going to the meetings. At least you might get some answers to why a
person gets to be an alcoholic and why they can't see it themselves. I will
continue to pray for you and your daughter. May God give you hope in your
storm.
