I love bats! Wouldn't mind if that's what they were into. Palmetto bugs
don't really fly that high most of the time. They use their wings to launch
across my garage straight at my face to send me screaming and stumbling back
into the house.

likewise, they sometimes use them to fly from the top of my curtains in the
masterbedroom, strafe my head, and land "somewhere" in the room such that
I'm pacing the room at 1 a.m. until we find it and kill it.

up until the last 3 days we'd been in a drought situation and they were
coming into the house for water. <shudder>

nasty nasty creatures.
