I am just shy, that's all. :">
I am Victor, from Spring, this is the first group to which I can really
rrelate. I started going to a support group recently and last week began a
course (http://lupustexas.org/html/flyer.htm) that concentrates on learning
how to live with lupus, including the emotional, social, financial and
interpersonal consequences . I always felt out of place because all the
people that I know that have lupus are women. Not any more, I met a couple
of very nice gentlemen and their spouses at the class last week.
I check the postings regularly but I normally only speak when spoken to.
I went from having a very active life to being diagnosed, after years of
mis-diagnoses, to retirement in a very short time and I am having a hard
time adjusting. I am fortunate to have a very loving and supportive wife (38
years an counting).
Wow, that is more than usual ranting for me.
Nice to meet you all, I am glad to be here.
