Author mouth irritations

Well I found out that both rhubarb and walnuts are classified as highly
acidic with regards to our metabolic ph level and levelling off the alkaline
and acidic foods we eat; the chart specifies that they are great for high
acidic value!
So.....maybe we should be watching our alkaline intake and increase it to
enable us to better eat the other foods? or maybe we should just not eat the
acidic foods <g>... hmmmmm decisions!
I'll keep on looking, still haven't found anything on kiwi skins.... I don't
eat the skins J; the whole fruit makes my mouth itch when I eat the fruit
right out of the skin, without peeling it, so I don't know if it is just the
skin or just the fruit or both lol! I will have to peel the next one I
buy....

Do you eat kidney beans, Shelagh?
A guy on another newsgroup has improved a chronic itch by eating (red, I think)
kidney beans.

As to acidic and alkaline, medics don't believe in those theories, but I do.
I feel it when I'm too acidic, mostly in the tummy.
I don't know what foods are alkaline. If I eat something acidic, there has to be
something crusty with it to balance the acidic out, but I have weird food
"rules". I can't eat brown bread with some meats; better white bread. But I can
eat sliced tomatoes with brown bread. I can't eat brown bread with tomato sauce
or spaghetti, that's for sure
See what I mean - weird...

I was just wondering if the same happens to you if the walnuts are on top of a
piece of cookie or cake?
Hugs from me,

Gee you changed your web page. Now it's all pointing to other web pages? Mostly
medicinenet..
Is there a reason for that?

hmmm kidney beans ay? I do eat them in a chilli and in bean salad and they
are okay.... never saw them as a 'fixitive' before though... have to try it
I guess.

Actually J your 'mixes and matches' with the food groups make perfect sense
with relationship to the acidity and alkalinity chart lol!

nay, if you're eating some, that's good enough.
The other guy never did, so perhaps it was something missing in his general
diet.
