Now I get to wear an ace bandage and an air cast for two or three
months. The doctor gave me Celebrex and Vicodin (sp?). I supplement that
with Arthritis Strength Tylenol. In addition to the passle of other meds
I take, including prednisone (doc cut the dosage in half), Plaquenil,
and Fosomax.

Hi Nell, Sorry to hear the news.
Do we get to call you "gimpy" now? <guess I shouldn't joke about it>
Did a bone snap? I've never heard of an air cast for a tiwsted ankle.
Hope you recover well and welcome back.
Hugs
J

I was taking my dog to the groomer. BTW he looks really nice.

No bones snapped but I'm no lightweight and the extra support of the air
cast does help. It's just a very bad sprain.

I'd just gotten over a milder sprain of my right ankle (I have weak
ankles) that I don't know how I got.

Thanks for the well wishes. Yeah, go ahead and call me "Gimpy" because I
are. LOL

whew! A sprain isn't any fun but a break would be much worse.

I have weak ankles, too. What I really have is hyperflexibility. The
connections are loose and therefore it's easy for me to twist my ankle. I
"fall off my feet" a lot which gets a lot of smart-alek responses from
hubby. Fortunately, I love him.

I also have weak ankles and I thought that I was the only person around that
"fell off my feet".

Glad to know I'm not alone!

Sherry
