sick from Methotrexate?

| Howdy everyone,
I've been taking Methotrexate for a while now (about 6 months), but I am
feeling nauseated today, and I don't usually have any nausea at all. I read
somewhere that the effects of methotrexate are their worst the day after it
is taken. And that's where I am now. I am taking 7.5mg all in one dose.
The doc did not suggest this, but said I could do it if it did not bother
me. Well perhaps it is bothering me, but that doesn't seem like the sort of
symptom that would occur a day later, does it? Wouldn't nausea happen right
while the stuff is in my stomach?
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Do any of you who take it by injection get nausea as a side effect?
Any input would be very helpful.
Mair.

| I don't know where he is. He must be doing something important. I will put
out a call for him, and see if I can't get him to make a post to everyone...

| Please be sure you are drinking plenty of fluids on the day when you take
the Methotrexate. I too am on the 7.5mg and what i do is take one pill in
the morning and the other two in the afternoon. I haven't had any problems
with this.
You may wish to discuss this with your doctor.
Always,
