My partner is hospitalized with protein-losing enteropathy, which apparently
occurs occasionally in people who have lupus. We are wondering if any of you
have this problem, or if you know someone who does; we have been unable to
find a home health agency willing to give albumin by IV in the home (it's a
protein blood product) and so partner must stay in hospital (6 weeks
already). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. mlfike@mn.rr.com

Hello and welcome,
I've never heard of it, which means nothing really.
You could also try the group (private mail list) at ACOR
http://www.acor.org/mailing.html?l=l
(if you haven't already).
Keep in touch and let us know how she's doing, ok?
