| Hi gang
Yes, it's me. Been a hectic time since returning from the south, maybe
should of stayed there longer, esp with this weather LOL
The flu bug got me good, I mean big time. Lost 7 pounds from it but HEY,
needed that part done LOL. Since trying to recuperate, I am having more
and more joint pain. Maybe the shock of the flu set it off but a few weeks
even before that it was starting to get bad.
We are "still" waiting for a supply of methotrexate (MTX) injectible. I
can't take the pills due to the esophagus dysmotility and stomach problems,
plus had a few episodes of liver elevated blood work before.so..........
My rheumy still wishes I could take the plaquenil but with hives, it may
not be a good thing to do tee hee. I look like a swollen boulder now LOL.
so we wait, and until then I am trying to fight it off with darvocet and
pain patches and today I got up and said Ibuprophen. I took it and well
if tummy messes up more, then what the hey. I am kinda sick about this
pain level but what to do is another story. Told hubby I need a paraffin
bath and just leave me in there might help more. Plus my spa is empty and
we haven't gotten around to fill it, TONIGHT? maybe, up to him to lug the
hose around, and he will.
Grandkids are all good, just growing like weeds. Son got out of hospital
and asthma was the cause, plus he is going to try to get a new type insulin
pump that measures his blood as well as gives him his insulin. he has one
but hates to stick himself and this of all things, measures his blood
levels FOR him. Has medical advancement come a long way with diabetes.
Well that is my update. Sure would like to hear from each of you. Ruthie
if your reading this, please write me. I miss you and hubby.
So let's have roll call and figure out ways to get this NG back on track
and back on HELPING all.
