Author A quick update...

Hi Everyone. I wrote a while ago about my sister in law. I just wanted to
write a short note to tell you that so far things are okay again. She got
home after being in the hospital for about two and a half weeks. A week of
which she was in isolation (gloves, masks and full length gowns were the
fashion of the day). Now, she's home. She's still not top notch, but she's
doing much better. Back to normal except for some pain in her back. But
she was sitting down for nearly three weeks, so she's having to start moving
around slowly and it's no surprise that she's having trouble with her back.
The last official diagnosis was bacterial meningitis. But, I don't really
know if I believe it. And the doctors aren't entirely sure. So, now
they're trying to arrange for her to see another lupus specialist in Nova
Scotia ASAP. So...things are looking up again for another little while. I
hope everyone is doing good. Thank you for all of your kind and helpful
emails. I'll keep in touch.

Karla, Thank you for the update.
Just yesterday morning, I was thinking of you both and wondering how your sister
in law was doing.
I'm so pleased to read that she's doing much better and will be seeing another
lupus specialist.
I look forward to your next update.
Thank you for posting and looking out for your SIL

Hi Karla,
I am glad to hear that things are looking up. Coming back from severe
illness like that will take time. I wish your sister in law all the best.
