| I love this thread!
Yesterday I did what my hubby referred to as "cat maintenance". I said, "No,
don't shorten it that way! It's *such an accomplishment* when I say, 'took
the litterbox outside (shoving 20 pounds with my feet), shoved the 40 pound
box of litter outside, cleaned the box and added more litter, put the rest
of the new litter in the plastic pail (another 30 pounds) and brought it in,
poured the new Meow Mix (18 pounds) into the plastic pails, cleaned the food
trays & bowls, filled them with new water, new crunchies, mixed up some
crunchies & water for our toothless 20 y.o., and got the meat bowl ready for
the morning.' "
Sometimes I think "how pitiful" that we count such small steps and then I
think how much worse things *could* be . . .
