Hi'ya new people

Welcome to alt.support.lupus :-)

Shelagh maintains a map of posters, so you can see where each person is
(approximately) located in the world.
http://clik.to/lupus
Click on "View My Guest Map" there beside the wolf
(shows up as a globe of the world) in the middle of the main frame.
The instructions are on the Welcome box when the map opens.
There's two maps - we don't know why that happened.
If there's no space to place where you live, on one map), please use the
"go back" (or forward) arrow on the top left of the map to get to the
alternate one.

(If your browser won't show the map, post and let us know. Shelagh will
put you on the map for you).

Once you select "Post", click near where you live which positions you on
the map, then an information box comes up, enter as much or little info as

you wish, keep it short and confidential because anyone can have access to

the map and the info that you post in your message and the information
that the map
asks you to fill in, in the form. For instance, it asks for your name. It
can be your screen name and doesn't necessarily have to be your full name.
It asks for location. You can put just the State if you prefer. The flag
selection ID's your country for quick reference on the map.

Point your cursor at some of the others' there first and you'll see the
kinds of messages they've posted (to give you some ideas).
In the info box, you may select your country flag, gender and hair color
but not the clothing color.
If you don't select a gender/hair color, you'll be shown as a little green

figure. There's an example of one there. If you want to be green, so be
it. <g>.
Those who want theirs changed from green to something else post and we'll
forward the request to Sheila.

If you record it in the wrong place or have any other difficulty contact
Shelagh at valleylupus a t hotmail d o t com (fix the obvious)
(or post to the newsgroup) and she will help you with this, or
make the desired change(s)
While you're on Shelagh's web site, there's lots of good information about

Lupus, take your time and have a read.

Since some people "munge" (spoof) their email addresses to post to
newsgroups.
KC (kcat) maintains a private list of posters and circulates
it at various times, so posters can keep in touch privately,
behind the scenes, if they so wish.

Contact: kcattx a t gmail*com
where the "a t" represents the proper email symbol and the * represents a
dot.

In the subject line of your e-mail to KC, type "The alt.support.lupus
Private List of Who's Who"
She will e-mail you back the url in order to access and fill out the form
that is required to get on the list. .

Adobe Acrobat is required to open and read the list that she will e-mail
back to you.
You may already have it on your computer.
You'll probably know once you receive Kc's List of Who's Who by clicking
on it.
If nothing happens, then to download ( or upgrade ) Adobe Acrobat Reader
try one of the following:
