I googled the word. It's being touted as a treatment for multiple
sclerosis, dermatitis, vitiligo and psoriasis. One site which sells it

http://www.althealth.co.uk/products/details.php?id=173

has this to say about it:

"This product is a food supplement not intended to diagnose,
treat, cure or prevent any disease. It is rather a food supplement,
which has proven successful in patients helping them have a healthier
immune system that helps them fight the disease. These statements
have not been evaluated by the FDA."

So it's a treatment that isn't really a treatment.
