Lupus Support - update

Hi folks.
Well as you can tell not much posting by me. I am rushing my buns off
getting things together for the Holidays, as well as doctors to see for
both my husband and I.

We are heading south in less than two weeks but I will check google to see
how you guys are doing here. I may even post if my dial up permits me to
do so. But keep me posted by either email private or here will you?

I haven't heard much from Wendy and I am hoping she is doing quite well or
at least able to tolerate what maybe going on with her. BJ the same for
you as well as the rest of this wonderful gang of loopie people.

I am doing ok and did go to 7 weeks of arthritis water classes. They were
sponsored by my lupus chapter so that made it even better for me LOL EL
CHEAPO JANERS naw, I would of gone even if they didn't foot the bill. I
enjoyed them alot but boy you realize what joint have not set in motion for
a few years. UGH. I had previous back surgery in 98 (LOW BACK) and well I
kinda messed that up again in the water. You have no clue while there,
what you feel till after YOU do it. Whaaaaaaaaaaaa. So I see the pain
doctor this next week and hope to H he can numb it before we head out down
south. I am using Tens as well as patches and gee I thought I got rid of
all this crap but apparantly it is not to be. Same with the old neck where
the fusion is. Oh well, maybe the water in warm Florida will help it.
My bleeding was due to inside the lower bowel but that was treated with
cortisone suppositories and has since died down. I am still fighting low
white count and now again sed rate has not gone down with medrol being
upped. So monday I see rheumy and see what she wants me to do. I know MTX
but she will not put me on it till after I return to Ohio. I may try to
convince her to use IMURAN again and let me give it a try.
I am on new med for BP an it is working great. No more pounding or feeling
bad all the time. It is benicar HCT and It is working quite well. Bp runs
low and I do NOT notice it at all . amazing for now. I think I should of
got stock in bp meds, cause I have been on around a dozen of them or more.
hehe Gee if I would of only known that years ago, I could of bought a
place down south haha

Hubby just got done having another high psa test and another round of
biopsies. all is NEGATIVE and we are extremely happy about that. It
scares the H out of you when family loved ones are sick or have something
like that. His father did and it was not a good thing.

So tis me saying MERRY CHRISTMAS to you guys and Happy Holidays. May all
your problems be teeny tiny ones and may the pain be sent away for good.

Hope your trip is wonderfully fun and full of happiness!
Enjoy the heck out of yourself and come back healthy and tired!
Good luck with all your doc appts. and make sure you are all stocked up for
any 'event' that may come along while you are gone... just in case!
