Chemicals--another thing

I also notice that there are times when I can use these products--not the
cleaning products, but, say, a glue like I was using yesterday--and not be
effected by it. Then, when my symptoms are worse in general, more products
will trigger symptoms. Is anyone else like this?

| Yes
Yes Mair, I get this way with my lungs. I tolerate some odors and so forth
when my lungs are clear but when the asthma is twitchy, I have to stand
clear of any known irritants or forget breathing!
I have become too fond of breathing to start now.
Always,

I have not noticed that I am more sensitive at certain times, but I have
noticed a sensitivity building up over time.
I have t0 confess I did smoke cigarettes for many years. I gave up about 3
years ago and after a while I stopped craving and started an aversion. In the
last year I have become hypersensitive to cigarette smoke. I can smell it a
mile off and the closer I get, the more it interferes with my breathing. I
feel like there is no air at all for me to breathe. I feel as if I am going
to suffocate due to lack of air. Its worse indoors but even outside. Outside
it depends on the air quality. Some days the air seems heavy and thin, other
says it seems fresh. Fresh days I can tolerate smoke and smells better.
I also feel like I cant breathe when there is someone who stinks of perfume,
also when there is a lot of traffic fumes.
