| Deb here, feeling better- antibiotics finished a week ago c/o pleurisy but
now left with a very dodgy stomach. If I eat anything I can guarantee that
I'm on the loo 2-3 hours later, severe pain in my stomach then whoosh!!!
then ok until I eat again; probably just the antibiotics working there way
through, but I'm not sure how well my meds are being absorbed in the
meantime, pain in my hands and fingers unbearable at times.
Any advice?

| The same thing happens to me whenever I have to take antibiotics. I thing
it has something to do with the meds killing off all the "good" bacteria in
the digestive system. I've found eating some yogurt (the kind with the live
bacterial culture) quickly helps get things back in balance.
Hope you're feeling better soon!

| Yep, eat yogurt - lots of yogurt or buttermilk or any other cultured dairy
product. It does help!!
