Strip tests don't tell them which bacteria(s) are causing the infection.
The choices of antibiotic depend on which bacteria(s).
If you've been taking cipro for 12 days and you don't feel better, there's
something wrong there.
That's my opinion. (not a doctor) and since we can't see your lab reports,
don't have a clue if something's wrong with your kidneys. I hope not !
I take Norfloxacin and the pharmacy guy told me it zaps any UTI, but I see a
kidney warning on it.
