After reading BJ's post with the news of snow in her area already I figured
I could share the good news that my daughter is coming from northern
Alberta, on her own, for an entire week, leaving their snow behind!
So we will have a good visit with her (it has been a whole year since the
last one!) and she will be able to enjoy the beautiful Indian summer weather
we have had for the past couple of weeks providing it continues for her
stay!
At 27 years old she owns/operates a labrador kennel and she
breeds/trains/boards/grooms other dogs as well so she is a very busy girl,
as well as working p/t at a local co-op in their town and all that along
with trying to squeeze in a ride on her gelding 'wyatt' once a week and
taking a bit of time with the training of her yearling colt 'aiden'.
(It exhausts me to think of all she does lol!)
Needless to say, she needs a break and we are really looking forward to
seeing our little girl again!
(btw, SIL is a good guy but a visit with just our daughter is so much more
special than with the 2 together.)
A piece of sunshiney news from my home, ~from Shelagh~

I'm so excited for you. I know how much you'll enjoy her visit. Just don't
you overdo it trying to make her visit perfect! (How's that for the pot
calling the kettle black? LOL)

That's lovely Shelagh. There is nothing better than spending special moments
with your kids. Those are the times I treasure most.

I know Bev!! and yes you are indeed the pot calling the kettle black !! lol
but yes, I am bad that way and you are right to call me out on it !
I am determined to be well through this visit with her, the entire week and
so will not be 'fussing and prepping' for her.
She is all grown up now and understands totally how lupus works.
She doesn't expect anything from me except to 'be here' and I can do that
very well! LOL....
So I will be in touch with you post visit to tell you all about it!
Hugs from Shelagh
