Anty Maggie,

O Where, where is my anty Maggie!
I had a snuffly-wet greeting for you but I waited so long that it dried out.
I will make another right away if I find you!

Your devoted nephew

Fatigue ------> .

However, I saw a new doctor today. Young, brilliant *&* gorgeous! And
his nurse: an angel.

Eight years with no dx. Many of those, have I spent mumbling off
symptoms to 2 doctors with befuddlement etched across their faces.
Today, Dr. Can't-Say-It-Can't-Spell-It, told ME my symptoms. He dx'd me
with Psoriatic Arthritis inside of 5 minutes & started the paperwork for
an Enbrel program. I all but begged my doctor to dx me with it 4 months
ago per Nina's suggestion; a dx = free Enbrel. I still have one, maybe
2 dx's to go, but it's a huge start.

MTX cannot be found in any drug store in my city right now. Possibly
even the country. The company "lost track of stock?" For the time
being, people must switch to the oral dose at over a buck per pill &
each pill...a measley 2.5mg. What's worse is I found out today that the
company stopped putting the preservative in the MTX as well. This means
that a vial will only be good for one day or so. Does this mean my
recent MTX shots could've been dead? The new blisters on the bottom of
me feet could be a testament.

The approval for Enbrel may take 30 days or longer & I will need to go
for weekly shots or give in & buy the pills until then. I will do the
IV every 8 weeks, I think - seems a good way to go. And with this new
dx, I also will qualify for upcoming studies. Thank God as my hope
was fading big time here...

Love & Hugs & Thanks Too,
Maggie
