| I made it to the rally for RV's and have to say, this was the first outing
that I didn't have "ANY" problems. Can you believe that? I had a nice
time, good food and met people from all over the USA as well as Canada.
I rested when I wanted and did our own thing, not feeling pressure to be
there, do this and do that. It was good but lots of people. There were
about 300 motor homes stuffed into a fairgrounds. But we were lucky
because I mooched a site off the track for our motor home, with full hook
up. heheheheh. Pays to have a mouth....and a friend who has one too LOL.
hahah
I am now starting to lower my medrol (WATCH out) because I am on 2 times
the amount I usually take, so that might have something to do with my
"UP" mode. and feeling of full energy. I surely wish that cortisone would
not mess with your body and give you terrible side effects, cause this
stuff works wonders for ya.
So cross fingers here I go again, down in dose and hope for the best.
I am still waiting for my newest grand child to arrive with high hopes all
is well. The other little one is growing so fast and already about 3
months old and weighs in at 16 pounds. Little red chunker LOL. Our 13 yr
old GD is great and in quiz bowl in school. A nerd in her own
right....amen.
So I missed a few newbies. HELLO and welcome. Missed my old friends and
you have got to tell me how each of you are. Bev? I am sorry I missed
your call and could not contact with cell so glad your bp is figured out,
now go eat some popcorn LOL
I will be waiting for the updates people....
hugs

Welcome home, Janers,
I knew you'd gone somewhere, but I forgot where.
Glad you had a good time and grandkids are making grandma proud !

| Glad to hear you had a good time while away and felt well the whole time!!!
No popcorn for me!! The only time I dare to eat that is right before I go to
the dentist. (How does that little stuff wind up under the gums?) But I
might try eating some Chinese and see what happens. My daughter says my BP
is low enough that I have room to be "bad" occasionally.
Starting on the 18th of this month I'm going to work a full week (just that
week). Lets see how low my BP stays through that!! Then I'll probably sleep
the weekend away!
Weather has been beautiful. I can almost say we are having a true autumn.
High's about 70F (20C) and low around 50F (10C). Starting to see color on
the trees. I love these temps and the sun does not bother me as much. (Is it
the angle of the sun or the lack of heat?)

Good to hear that everything went so well for you and that you were
able to have a great time.
Ain't grandkids terrific? Spoil 'em and send back home to the folks.
LOL
One of my daughters was afraid to be labeled a nerd so she kind of
dumbed down for the boys. She finally got her smarts back again.
My youngest granddaughter, 17 months old, is still on the heart
transplant list. She's been on it since before Christmas. She's cute
as a bug's ear.

I posted a couple of years ago under the email address nellybly at
webtv dot net (spelled out to discourage spammers since it's an active
and used address). I went with posting via my computer address this
go 'round as I can munge the address (can't be done with WebTV--a nice
device but simplicity can be overdone LOL).

| Nell, she's adorable!
Now would you mind explaining more about her transplant? I'm going to assume
she has to have an infants heart? Have you checked with local news stations
to see if they might do a story on her with the hopes that someone will
remember to donate?

| Her mother has gone on radio in Iowa (where they're at) a couple of
times and a newspaper did an interview. She was diagnosed after the
first and only time a murmur was heard. She has a great deal of damage
on the left side. She was probably born with her heart condition but
the dx wasn't made till she was 6 or 7 months old. She has dilated
cardiomyopathy, which is very underdiganosed in young children. She's
1A on the transplant list.
Younger and older there's a better chance for a heart to become
available but she's at an inbetween age. It does have to be an
infant's heart. Her parents are pretty wore out but still pray and
wait and hope. I got the pic off the journal her mother maintains:
http://www2.caringbridge.org/ia/arysone/ (if the URL doesn't work,
just take the 2 out after www).
I have gotten sent pictures but I thought that one was about the
cutest. It's in the photo gallery (unless by the time anyone looks my
daughter has put another in it's place LOL). The picture on the front
of the journal was taken on her first birthday with everything
unhooked for just that time and she doesn't really look good.
She's my youngest grandchild and the only one I haven't met yet.

What a cutie ! They sure can do miraculous things these days.
I wish young mothers would sign donor cards, but I imagine they don't even
imagine the unimaginable..
(if you know what I mean).
It's hard to hope because that means another child dies, but if they are/will,
why not bring life to another child, eh?
Here's hoping something comes through for your grand-daughter and soon.
Hugs

| Nell,
She really is adorable. My heart goes out to her, her mom and your whole
family! I worked in a children's hospital these past two years as a
psychology intern and her adorable picture reminded me of all those cute
kids I would see with all those tubes and wires attached to them. They
always seem to manage to smile despite it though -- and find a way around
those tubes! My personal favorite was IV pole racing. I will be praying that
a heart comes very soon. Thank you for sharing :-)
