As a result of that (self imposed, I know) nightmare, I have a real
"Phobia", if you will, with Trimix!

So, maybe it is for two reasons that I am a lifetime "Caverject" man!

That explained and said, Cject is not without its problems, again many
very well documented in this Group.

Cject Impulse in the 20 Microgram size has 4 selections of dosage
depending on how you set the reading on the side of the unit. 5mg, 10,
15 and 20.

How much to use should be something that is almost a "set it and forget
it" deal, in my opinion....in other words, once you find the most
effective dose with the least side effects (I will get to that soon)
that should become your normal dose from then on...

Maybe that is the case with some ED sufferers (BTW, I should explain
that I am amongst the minority here in that my ED is 100% psychological
vs physical in causation..it is all in my head...(the BIG one!) I can
and do get full on nitetime erections and at other times as well and
have had all the standard tests done on me...as my Uro says "Vern, your
plumbing is all in order..go see a shrink"....Been there..done
that..can't help me ..NO change.

I am the ultimate "Poster Child" (perhaps a bit of a misnomer at 63!)
for "Performance Anxiety"...had it all my life (I won't get into
it....too personal for even this anonymous group...but it had to do
with certain incidents when I was a child..nuff said!) and it basically
ruined my sex llife for me until about several years ago when I
discovered the injectibles...

Yeah, I have tried Viagra (In fact when it first came out, in April of
1995, I was the very first patient to get a Script filled at my large
Sav-On!!....LITTLE TO NO EFFECT..was I upset or what!!

Then came my trials with Levitra and Cialis...waste of money for me as
my system pumped out huge amounts of Adrenelin etc just as I was about
to enter the lady, to beat down and counteract these so called "wonder
drugs" leaving me with a "limpy" just when I needed a "stiffy" the
most!

THANK GOD for Caverject! Finally, this late in my life, I was able to
truly experience sexual activity the way it is supposed to be....I can
actually insert my penis into the ladies vagina and pump away, in any
position, to my heart's content for as long as my muscles hold out...

I have to admit, (only for investigational and "Clinical Trial"
purposes..you understand) that I visited some "Professionals" to try
out and experiment with Cject before trying it on my SO. of the
moment...yeah, I am divorced...due, in large part, to this very problem
and our inability to deal with it!

Twice I had the "lady of the evening" involved in the "test" tell me I
was "Superman" or the best one of all that I just love....that my dick
should be nicknamed: "ROBOCOCK"!!!! HAHAHA..but really, to see these
individuals, who probably have sex with different men dozens of times a
week be that impressed was really something for ME, especially....OK,
the last girl I saw, I told what made my dick so hard for so long and
she gave me a "lecture" about how it "wasn't fair" to the "working
girls" for customers to do this as it made it "alot more work to
service them"!!!

Now you have the background (More than you need, to be sure...but once
I sit down at a keyboard, my "frustrated author" brain takes
over...sorry 'bout that'!!) of my ED situation.

Here are my side effects:

1. PAIN: Yeah all you have heard about pure Prostaglandin (sp?) the
sole active ingredient in Cject...is true....I always pop two full size
Asperins after I finish my "business" so that the ache in my dick is
tolerable..without it, it is very uncomfortable (This is where the
"Trimix boys" would normally chime in with their suggestions to use
"Painless Trimix" but you already know why I won't do that!)

2. HEMATOMAS: These bruises are infrequent, but again, I do what I am
supposed to do..apply pressure for at least 3 mins to the injection
site...and still get them! I try hard to avoid veins and I guess,
sometimes I hit them anyway resulting in an ugly bruise that lasts for
up to a week! This can sure become an issue to explain how you got it
if you are with a girl who does not know of your use of injectables and
you don't want her to know. One of my theories is that the 81mm "Baby
Asperin" tab I take each day for the prevention of Cardiac problems
makes this bruising worse....Any other tricks to reduce/eliminate this
"side effect"?

3. DELAYED EJACULATION: ( a short background on this.... not only did I
have ED but for most of my life, I also suffered from PE with the
proverbial "hair trigger" even without a full hard on! I had to jack
myself off 30-45 mins before sex if I wanted to have any kind of sexual
experience or I would shoot quicker than a Gunman in the Old West!
Guess what...maybe (the timing is right) when I started taking Cject,
my PE got less and less of a problem until now, it is the reverse (this
could also be a matter of aging..who knows?) and now sometimes I worry
if I can't ejaculate at all!! This is NOT a complaint..actually with a
full hard on lasting for hours and not cumming until I want to...I
almost feel like auditioning for a role in those "Mature" Pornos as I
now have the ability to stay hard and not ejaculate...Just kidding!!

4. INCONSISTENT ERECTION TIMES: This is my major problem...after
literally hundreds of Cject shots over that past 5 years or so, I have
yet to be able to "find the right dose" so that my erection lasts at
least approximately the same time with the same dose. I even keep
records of each use with the amount used and the time I had a full
erection. What I do sexually seems to have little effect as it is well
known that your stiffy stays stiff (in most cases!) even after
Ejaculation (although, this certainly "spooked" some of the "Pros" I
saw!!).

Here are some examples:

5MG is almost never enough...I have tried 5 and have to go to 10MG 90%
of the time....So,I always start with 10MG. This dose can last from 1.5
hours to 4.5 hours for NO APPARENT REASON!! Well, an hour and a half is
fine, but adding 3 more hours of having a 1 1/2 inch Diameter section
of "Steel Rebar" preceeding you as you walk about is not really too
cool...when my "use" is before I go to bed it just means I can't sleep
on my tummy, but if is during the day....hmmmmm well it is kinda hard
(PI) to hide...at times I have had to wear a large leather jacket to
cover up my GIANT WILLY...OK in the winter..makes for a hot time in the
summer!!

Then....sometimes I inject my normal 10MG and NOTHING HAPPENS....OK, I
know...this is most likely cuz I injected inproperly.....well, I don't
buy that as I have done this so many times successfully that I just
can't believe that once in a while I put the wonder juice in the wrong
part of my Johnson!! I am a "plumper upper" and do this almost like a
Diabetic would give him/herself Insulin injections...that is most
likely NOT why I have these enormous differences in how long I am hard

OK...that is still not all of it...If 10MG does nothing, I shoot up
another 10MG and almost always this 20MG does the trick.Again,with this
amount I still cannot even begin to plan how long I will need to "Hide
my Pride", so-to-speak! With 20MG I have gone all the way from an hour
to FIVE hours!!! Typically, 20MG will give me a 3.5 hour one.

Then every once in a while...statistically every 50 or so
injections..20MG is insufficient and I have to break out another
Impulse unit and put ALL of that one in too....we are talking 40MG,
which, even with relatively benign Cject, should be enough to put me
back into the E-room with a bunch of sniggering nurses joking behind my
back about my "little problem"!!

That (thank goodness) never has happened...the 40MG is still down by
itself...again not consistently...within anywhere from 2 to 5
hours...NEVER longer than 5, no matter what dosage I use (up to 40MG)

OK....WHY is this? Is this just the way Cject interacts with my Corpus
Cavernosa? Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a way to inject
myself so that I consistently (over 75% of the time) get a hard enough
dick for normal intercourse and have it back down within say 90 mins
(all someone my age needs by a long shot!!)

Finally, I am still in awe of my (albeit chemically enhanced)
abilities as a late in life "Bedroom Athelete" and hope I can continue
to do this for a long time to cum...but, how can I get my tool bacl
into a relaxed state when I don't need it to be hard enough to pound
nails?

I have tried the "Sudafed" route taking up to 4 of the (now controlled
by the Drugstores almost as if it was a narcotic...which it IS an
ingredient for "Home made Meth") pills...If this makes any dif at all
it is only one of maybe 20-30 mins off what would have been the time
for the erection to go down by itself...

Here is a wierd one: I have found that it is difficult to urinate with
a Cjected penis...maybe the urethra is just "clamped off" by the
hardness of the shaft? But, if I drink enough water, it gets through
somehow and that action seems to hasten the end of the erection...I
guess this is nature's way of making sure that what goes into the
female is semen not urine!!!

I trust that the truly "World Class" experts who contribute to this
Board will have some ideas for me on my concerns...BTW, this Group is
not only a terrific resourse for ED and PE sufferers, but also
extremely supportive of the men here who share similar problems that
really can have a major negative (or POSITIVE) effect on your self
esteem and consequently hour entire life experience!

(Anyone that made it this far deserves a medal for perseverence!!!)
