| Hey Muerta,
Question for you... regarding your current doc. I am getting tired of
shlepping to Pennsylvania twice a year. If you'd be kind enough to let me
know who is writing your T-cyp scripts these days, I'd appreciate it. (if I
recall correctly, you're in the NYC area.) Please feel free to email me:
jake_fantom@yahoo.com.
Thanks!

Wow, Wanderer, you got stones throwing an e-mail address out in the group. I
admire the nerve. Next vacation you can spend cleaning out the in-box ;)
I'll e-mail you, but for the info of group, I was in the Chicago area, and
it was a local doc.
The way I went about it, I took the results from the lab tests of the period
of androgel, HMG, and HCG into this internist, and basically said, "OK,
here's the last few years of my life, I'm tired of it, and I want to go on
weekly TRT injections.
There was discussion, started by me, of the endocrine system and particulary
the HPT axis. I told him where I'd like to start, he checked his little
portable PDR, and said OK, and wrote me the script.
Now, I am retired and back on my farm in the south (*Dixie* south), and when
it rolls around again, I shall carry my T box to the local internist and
advise what I'm doing, how long, and that I want to keep doing it.
A suggestion that I read in this group years ago was to go to the pharmacies
and ask which Drs. are prescribing T cypionate, and that gives you a base to
work from.
I don't think you want to travel to the Chi-town area, do ya?
Check yer in-box.

Hey Dude, good to hear from you and great suggestion about checking the local
pharmacists. Chicago is a bit far even for a Wanderer. You sound like
retirement agrees with you a bunch! Best as always...

Hi Joe. The doc I see in PA is Shippen -- the guy who wrote the bible of TRT
(The Testosterone Syndrome). I also live in NJ. The ride to Shippen (he's in
Shillington, PA) takes about two hours and twenty minutes from northern NJ.
He is as good as you will find on the planet, and I am honestly torn about
trying to find someone closer to home. If I locate a reasonable substitute in
the NY/NJ area, I will let you know. If your current doctor is stuck on
Androgel or some other worthless therapy, consider taking that drive out to
Doc Shippen's place.
