| I placed an order for tadaliail on friday and received this email today:
Please note that due to a recent judgment by US International Trade
Commission, we are unable to issue shipment of Tadalafil. This is in the
interest of our valued customer such as you. Please note that as per this
judgment, technically a person can import Tadalafil for consumption is the
US, if he submits a bond of 100% value with USITC (along with other import
documents and an express permission from Lilly ICOS which for obvious
reasons will be rejected), but then it will involve a lot of hassle. Please

Other internet sites offering Tadalafil are putting you at risk.
We request you to either purchase Sildenafil or Verdenafil instead of the
above.

Interesting... AFAIK Tadalafil was grandfathered in under the old Indian patent
rules. Wonder how they applied ITC rules to Tadalafil and not to the others?

I was wondering when the other shoe would drop on this.
Smooth: Presidential review completed in 2005, released by the ITC in
2006 but not enforced until after the 2006 elections. (Good timing guys!)
Pfizer has filed complaints against both foreign and domestic
distributors so Viagra will soon join Cialis. Haven't heard anything
about Levitra but that patent is held by Bayer so the filings will be in
Germany.
Our tax dollars at work. (Whoops, I misspoke -- it's deficit dollars at
work!)

| I am wondering whether this apply for US clients only, or is valid for us
in Europe ?

Hello
I am new to the group, but I just confirmed that Sun Drugstore (
www.sundrugstore.com )is still offering a generic Cialis called Tadalis SX for
$135 for 40 of the 20 mg. tablets.
At Checkout, there is presently no stated restriction pertaining to U.S.
consumption. Shipping is either $15 or $25 depending on desired delivery
dates.
I recently completed and received an order from this website for the generic
Levitra product and all appears to work similar to the real thing. I received
the product appx. 17 days from placing the order. I specified EMS w/tracking
number ($25) and signed-up for e-mail tracking confirmation with USPS that let
me know the real-time status of my order once it reached U.S. Customs to the
point of receipt.
I too was interested in ordering a generic Cialis from AllDayChemist (their
price was much cheaper), but now that this is not possible I suppose I will
quickly place an order with Sun Drug Store before they may become restricted as
well.
Hope this helps some of you in a similar situation.

Enforceability is only the the U.S. Unless, some other country decides
to go along with this on a voluntary basis.
If the U.S. State Department persuades another country to take similar
action then that country might enforce a similar action. Right now, I'd
guess that Cialis and Viagra aren't on Connie Rice's shortlist of things
to do today. (:-)

| Sounds like a repackaging and transshipment opportunity.
Good grief, what am I thinking. -- that wouldn't be patriotic.
