| Just a follow up. Wife did her (and my) first IM injection (0.6ml)
using the Muerta-approved technique. Site was just to the right (right
butt) of the band-aid the Syrian put on on Tuesday. Everything went
very well except that I couldn't get the 18ga off the syringe. Had to
get a pair of needle-nosed pliers to twist it off. After a few seconds
post-insertion, the wife says "How do I tell if it's all in?" "Is this
empty" (Shows me the syringe). I do believe that if it wasn't (it was)
she'd have just re-inserted it. Oh well. Didn't hurt a bit.
