| I just wanted to take a moment and respond to the posts that are out
here. I am the affiliate manager at Swanson Health Products. The
individual that goes by Howell Heflin was indeed part of our affiliate
program and was making a commission off all the sales generated from
his Swanson link. Each affiliate who signs up in our program needs to
read our program description which outlines what is acceptable in
marketing our products. We expect our affiliates to abide by FDA
regulations regarding the diet and nutrional supplement industry and
also clearly identify themselves as affiliates if they are trying to
sell the product.
YTEPower.com was accepted into our program on November 28th. Once we
were notified by Wanderer on December 4th of these posts, it was my
decision to remove Howell Heflin from our affiliate program
immediately. I wanted to make clear that the North Dakota Attorney
General did not make a decision in this matter. Swanson Health
Products moved swiftly and took the appropriate steps to resolve this
situation.
As affiliate manager, I take full responsibility for not catching the
information that was posted out here. While this should be a forum
where Howell Heflin can give personal testimony about the use of our
products and provide links and information to YTE, it should also have
been stated that he was an affiliate of our program and had a financial
interest in the sale of our products.
