Edex cause BP to lower
|
|
|
| I was wondering if anyone has had an experience with Edex injections
causing BP to go down? I do not use any pills like Viagra but do take a
high dose of Edex. My injection dose of Edex is 60 mcg which gives me
an excellent hard erection but seems to lower my BP.

My BP was about 10 pt lower(around 115/68) when I was regularly using
Viagra or Levitra as my only E.D. med. Now Trimix is my prime mover and
I use much lower doses of Levitra. BP has been around 125/75 on the
last couple of checks with resting pulse of 64, up from my the previous
60. Of course, this could be white-coat syndrome or some long-term
needle phobia haunting my soul. >>(8-[
Earlier in the year, there was a brief discussion in this group that the
small doses of vasodialators that we use when injecting aren't enough to
affect the rest of the body as they 'dump' out of the penis following
orgasm. Don't know if that's true or not.
You might consider BiMix, Trimix or Quadmix. Trimix has less paraverine
than Edex/Caverject for a given effect. One quadmix formula I saw
contained a bit of atropine. Haven't had a chance yet to ask my
pharmacist what that might be doing.
