Hey guys,
I've been using trimix for a couple years with good results, even
though I originally visited Boston Medical Group. Since then, I've
gotten my fill from my local hospital's pharmacy. I was using the
autoinjector and needles provided by BMG for the trimix provided from
the local pharmacy, because the needles that the local place gave me
were smaller (1/2 unit increments vs. the 1 unit increment ones from
BGM, and the autoinjector from BMG only takes the larger one). I am
curious where I can get a good autoinjector for the smaller, 1/2 unit
30 gauge needles?

Also, I have read several post that state to not inject into a full
flaccid penis-makes sense, good info! What I do not understand is the
technique described as 'squeezing the blood forward to enlarge the site
to near erect diamater'. Being that you are injecting into the side of
the penis, shouldent you be squeezing the blood more towards the
side/back of the penis (the normal injection site, first 1/3 of penis).
I guess I need clarification of that statement.

Thank you,
Travis

With 31 gauge needles you may not need to rely on an auto-injector.
These are painelss, at least for me.

Try to induce a partial erection, just plumped up some. That way you
can easily see where the veins and arteries are and find yourself a
safe place to inject.

Thanks for the help. No matter the needle gauge, I can't watch a needle
go into my cock...in the meantime, I fould several auto-injectors. Is
the proper depth 8-12mm?

Turbo,

If it bothers you to inject, have your partner do it.

The 31 gauge is almost painless. (By painless, I mean one single pubic
hair caught in a rubber hurts much more than a 31 gauge needle.) It
comes in 5/16 inch (8mm) length and with a short length like that, you
can and should just ram it in to the hilt, even when you are flaccid and
it shouldn't go in too deep.

In my opinion injecting while hard is a major cause of scarring. You
want to be slightly plump, not hard when you inject.

I think you will find that a needle gives you much more control over
exactly where you inject.

Total needle phobic here. I still don't watch blood draws or
vaccinations. Nurse in the Uro's office started working with me several
years before I started Trimix. (Uro uses small amount of Bimix/Trimix
during most routine E.D. checkups.) The big emphasis was on identifying
the target spot and all nearby 'landmarks' (veins, bumps, hair follicles
etc.) Importance on withdrawing the needle at exactly 90 degrees to the
skin surface. The nurse taught me to feel the needle resistance change
as it penetrated skin, tunica and then slid into the cavernosa. May
sound a bit masochistic but it gave me a sense of control over the whole
process.

Shots in the Uro office were all with 29s and I used 29s during workup
and titration. Jim persuaded me to make the move from 29s to 31s --
made a real difference!! Nary a scar since making the change! I prefer
8mm -- feel more secure than with a 1/2" needle. Some guys have
complained that the 31s are slow to load -- I haven't found that to be true.

Thanks for all the help guys. No matter what, I can't stick a needle in
my cock without the autoinjector. Hell, the first time I used the
autoinjector, It took me half a hour to get the guts to 'pull the
trigger'. I think that some of my less succesful injections were due to
injecting on a totally flaccid penis. Still do not understand what
"ernestnolan" means by "squeezing the blood to the END of the penis to
make the injection site near erect diamater"..I get the idea, but can
only assume he is referring to the 'end' as the base of your penis
where you inject? To me, the end of my penis is the head

Take care
Travis
