I had no sex life years ago and would go to sex chatrooms and start to
masturbate for hours on end. Initially, I would get very hard when I
entered those rooms. But after severwal weeks of doing this, my penis
would not go hard at all. Further, I would not get an erection any time
during the day or wake up with a morning erection. I could only get
erect by masturbating and then if I stopped masturbating at all, I
wouldquckly lose it. However, I was depressed and addicted and kept on
going to those rooms anyway.

Now, I have really cut down on the masturbation, several years later,
and my erections are coming back some but nothing like they were. I
have tried viagra and I get a good erection and good lasting time. But
w/o viagra I am problaby at 30% of where I was ten years ago (roughly
age 30, now age 40).

I guess my questions are:

1. Can a penis be permanently damaged by masturbating for hours on end
and basically holding off ejaculation?

2. Will limited sexual activity help "heal" my penis (if healing is
even possible)?

More importantly; what is going to help you? Everybody's different. Make
your own changes for the better. If you don't want to see a urologists, make
the changes yourself. Read everything you can; do what will help you.

As you say, you've also aged. Go with what you have and see if you keep
improving.

___________

1) No. What you were doing is a common practice called "edging."
Good though to end up sessions fairly frequently by letting go, for
good prostate health.

2) What Jerry said. You can choose to find out medically what's
happening, or not. With ED, the more you know about what's causing
yours, the better equipped you'll be do deal with it in finding
solutions.

Hello Jerry,

firstly i would advice if there is really a problem ask a doctor. Its
not embarrissing. He will be the right person to ask for.

Secondly I would advice to meet people especially women. Make some
dates. Maybe for a coffee. Not with the interest to go into bed. That
is in my opinion the best recept.
In Germany we have some webportals like this www.publike.de . Perhaps
you look here there

Good luck
Jogi
