Having some mild ED for a while, I've tried different drugs from testosterone to proscar and
antibiotics.
The other day I grabbed some Levodopa/Carbidopa. I felt aroused and mastubated before going to bed,
(unseen...),and, incredibly, for the first time in some ten years, I had a wet dream! (testosterone
never did anything to that !). I never had headaches or anything, but could this be a prolactin
issue or do males just get normaly excited with dopamine??

Antibiotics for ED??????

Do you work in a pharmacy that you're able to "grab" these
prescription-only drugs and/or controlled substances (T)? Nothing
against it. I'd love to be let loose to try out what I could. I'd like
a free laboratory as well to monitor my blood values though.

Dopamine agonists have the reputation of causing spontaneous
ejaculations and erections. I believe apomorphine was discovered by
observing erections in Parkinsonism patients. The problem with them,
apart from the side effect of nausea, is that like all agonists
they'll eventually down-regulate the cellular receptors and won't work
anymore. In fact you may be worse off than before. Still there's
certainly plenty of interest these days in dopamine, particularly the
D2 receptors; whether anything will come of it remains to be seen.

I don't believe that Levadopa is used for the treatment of
prolactin-secreting tumors (bromocriptine or Dostinex are) and I also
doubt that even with the right medication there'd be a turn-around
since "the other day". Get a lab test.

Prostatitis. Comes and goes. Quinolones clear it up. .

You seem envidious. What's the internet for ??

Now, that's more interesting...it wasn't that difficult.

Dopamine agonists are known to stimulate the libido. Parkinson's patients on
various dopamine-promoting meds are known to become hornier, both men and
women. It's also thought that some of the libido-killing effects of Prozac
are due to its serotonin-favoring disruption of the dopamine/serotonin
balance. Selegiline is another med thought by some to increase libido.
Dostinex, on the other hand, is mostly used to reduce refractory time.

I've experimented with pure L-dopa and found it to promote horniness, but not
consistently. Incidentally, fava beans are loaded with L-dopa. And they are
great with a nice chianti.

Dostinex is probably the only way to go, in terms of reducing prolactin.
I've tried Bromocriptine but nauseates me to death, and half-life is only 5 hours tops.
Dostinex is supposed to have no nausea effects and last for days ?

If your Prostatitis comes back, then you probably did not take the
antibiotic long enough the first time.

Try a amphetamine if you want a real libido lift, I don't care what
your situation is if you take the right dose you will not be able to
think about or do anything but sex, try and tell me i'm wrong.
