HCG becoming more acceptable to endos?
|
|
|
| Hey everyone.
I have an endo appt soon, and my T numbers are definitely on the low side
of normal. (Especially for my age)
I'm hoping this new endo, she's probably in her mid to late 30's, is a
little more progressive than the last endo I saw.
I'm wondering if, in general, HCG is becoming more mainstream to treat low
testosterone? I see a lot of posts about it, but I'm concerned b/c I just
can't expect my primary care physician will keep referring me to new endo's
until I finally find one to accept my low T levels aren't right, and at
least consider all the options.
Thanks
Tony

Actually, Tony, it was always *very* maunstream to the endo's, they just
didn't know it.
Go here:
http://www.aace.com/pub/pdf/guidelines/hypogonadism.pdf
and print the file, it's the endo's "bible" for treating hypogonadism. then
take it with you, and refer her to the part about HCG treatment for
hypogonadism.
The endo's wrote it, can't argue with that.
