Author Which is worse, PE or ED?

I can sympathize with you, having obsessed about ED for 30 years. I was
amazed at how few sex therapists there are, even in large city areas. Maybe,
I'll be able to afford it some day.

I don't mean to minimize your problem, but I've often thought that if I had
PE, instead of ED, at least I could complete the act, even though it was a
short time. Big difference to me, maybe not to others.

I usually ejaculate within 10sec of penetration, not really sure if that
counts as completing the act lol. I really can't say which condition is
worse I just know I don't want either.

Yes...that is completing the act. At least you can actually father children
that way and you get to climax to boot. Someone who can't get hard enough to
penetrate is going to have a difficult time becoming a daddy. Also, you
don't necessarily get to climax.

ED is worse for you. PE is worse for your partner. Come to think of
it, ED ain't so good for your partner either.

Exactly. So by that logic, ED is worse because both are unhappy.

*sigh* what is it about human nature that makes us always compete, our
victories must always be better than that of others and our failures must
always be harder.

This should be a place where men can come to share and learn in an open
non-judgmental way.

The "logic" put forth by the statement, PE is worse for your partner, is
silly and insensitive. It assumes that just because one is able to ejaculate
one is able to enjoy sex and that simply isn't true. I'm usually so stressed
out by my impending failure that I rarely, if ever, enjoy sex. In fact I'm
usually fighting my body so much that not even the point of climax is fun.

In another part of this thread you say that you are married, so if you
really want to compare about who has it worse think about like this:

You have a wife who is understanding enough to let you see a hooker. I on
the other hand have never been in a real relationship in my life. The
embarrassment caused by my PE is so great that I have not only avoided sex
but just about all intimacy, and I must admit the loneliness is killing me.

Hell, if I was in your situation I probably wouldn't even be that upset,
you're aleady married to an understanding woman whereas me on the other hand
is facing a life of regret and loneliness. *See how easy it is for someone
from the outside to look at your situation and dismiss it, no fun huh*

Never judge a man until you have walked a mile in his moccasins.

I must sincerely apologize if you interpreted my question as a kind of
competition. I meant nothing of the kind. I was just curious as to which of
these the readers believed was worse. My purpose was not to compare your
case against mine. I was only thinking in generalities. No judgment of any
kind was intended. Of course, I agree with you that I am better off in my
specific situation. Perhaps my remarks were insensitive. Again, I apologize
to you and any who suffer from either PE or ED.
