Thanks William for the clue on the Coenzyme Q10. Sounds like a good,
"just in case."
I've had occasional visual auras for over 45 years but never a related
headache. Blessed I would guess. Will add the Q10 to my instruction book
Here's my personal tip on the cholesterol and BP. I come from roots
that have high BP, high LDL, High HDL (fortunately), and tendency to
high Triglycerides.
Forty years ago my M.D. Uncle (a chest surgeon) got the guys in the
family on the right path.
1. Throw away the salt shaker. It has no place on the table where food
is served! Tell the family cook to cut way back on sodium in food
preparation.
2. Go aerobic with the large muscles in your legs for 30 minutes each day.
In 1990 he added:
3. Read the labels. Eat so that you stay below 60% of the RDA for
Sodium. Period. Allow yourself a burger and large fries at MacDonalds
once a month.
4. Avoid transfats. Avoid Dairy fats.
5. If your HDL is under 60, have your doctor prescribe Niacin therapy.
The rest of the numbers should fall into line.
