Hi guys:
Having recently had a radical prostatectomy I now have ED and require
a vacuum device to have an erection. My question is which make (and
model) is the best. I've had a look via the internet at several models
and have taken a shine to either the Vacurect or one of the Osbon
devices.
Which one or ones would you suggest?
Thanks in advance.

Look at the Osbon Erecaid ESTEEM Battery Model. It is the top of the
line. The Classic OTC model is NOT convenient to use. You can sometimes
pick up a slightly used Ereacid on E-Bay for about $100. Do price shop
since prices are all over the map.

I'm very happy (as happy as I can be...considering) with the Osbon
ErecAid Esteem. Works well, and is very reliable.

Have you tried vitamin V etc, or trimix first. None of them worked
for me, so I had you go to the pump.

I got the Osbon, top of the line battery operated unit. They are very
expensive, but at the time, my insurance paid for it. I don't know what
insurance you have, but be sure to ask for coverage. The unit is truly top
of the line, and warranty problems are handled very promptly.

If you are on Medicare they will cover the cost of a vacuum unit with a
prescription from your doctor.

And many thanks to those of you who replied to my question. Your
answers have given me something to think about.

Oh, PS: My ISP is cutting out supplying Usenet service on May 26 so I
suppose that's about it from me unless I can find another similarly
priced provider who has it....

So long,

Real shame. Hope they are cutting the price of service accordingly.

Well, also note that you can subscribe to a news service
that's separate from your ISP. Of course that's extra
money, but places like Astraweb and Octanews offer "block"
accounts which give you so many gigabytes of downloads for a
one-shot payment. The block never expires, and header
downloads don't count. If you only do text groups, a $10
block would probably last you a couple years.
