Hi,

I just wonder why one would want to use Clomid instead of Arimidex to combat
high E2? From what I know, both will lower the E2 activity even though they
have different working mechanisms. However, since Clomid will block the E2
receptors so that E2 cannot attach, there is no way to keep track of the
progress by measuring the E2 level since the measured level will not be
valid, i.e. only a certain and unknown fraction of the measured E2 will
actually be active. However, with Arimidex the actual E2 level is lowered
instead and no receptor blockage occurs, which gives accurate results of E2
activity when the E2 level is measured. So wouldn't Armidiex be a better
option due to it's ability to produce reliable measurements of E2 actibvity
for tracking.

I'm certainly no expert on this but I have read some doctors suspect
high E2 as a more likely cause of prostate cancer than T. If this is
true it would be another argument for using Arimidex. However, I also
remember reading Arimidex may have some bad side effects for some
people but I dont recall what they were.
